This page contains poems that I wrote mostly during my high school and college years. Though I learned very little in my writing classes, they had one major benefit; they forced me to write. Although frustration and a fear of screwing up and disappointing myself keeps me from writing anything, I've always had a deep need to get good grades. Taking writing classes forced me to write because I couldn't avoid doing the work. Though often I'd avoid it until the last moment. But that often brought about some fine poems. Writing them in class instead of listening to the teacher and other people prattle on also worked. Anyhow... most of this is pretty atrocious. But I'm putting it up here anyhow. I'm a glutton for punishment. :)
