Well, I was definitely happy to read this. Though I was loving Smallville, the show was definitely falling into a monster-of-the-week kind of formula. Though there were some underlying plotlines that were being moved forward throughout each episode, the basic structure of each episode was almost exactly the same for a while there. It's good that the guys in charge realized it and will do something about it. It'd be nice if a live-action superhero show did well.
